CORONAVIRUS | New York City now the epicentre of US COVID-19 outbreak

New York City has become the epicentre of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States with over 4000 cases. The number nationwide has passed 13 500. Weary markets are tentatively waiting for lawmakers to reach agreement on a trillion dollar economic stabilisation package.
This, as the United Nations Secretary General warns of global recession, urging wealthier nations to support the most vulnerable, in particular, in Africa.
